oooookay…

So I finally said something to this club after the upteenth show where a synth/sample heavy act sounded like shit. I was nice in the complaint. Didn’t even drop an f-bomb. They turn around and blame the band’s sound guy in a not so nice response back to me.

Me being a guy who doesn’t know any behind the scenes stuff. I naturally think it’s the venue. It’s a common problem. So common, I avoid seeing a band at that venue even though I really want to hear the band. I drop almost $40 on a ticket and I get that. Anyone that was there would have noticed the song where the girl’s screaming her head off came off silent. Could the staff sound guy step in and help fix it? Yeah maybe.

I hesitate to mention said venue, as whoever responded to me also ego-surf’s the web for the club name. It was that nasty. Sigh.
