Apothecary Love

Had a great time at the first ever Lexington Comic & Toy show. The first time in a while that I’ve ventured outside of state lines for a show in quite some time. The place was crazy packed from the get-go. I didn’t know what to expect given I was between a dealer and a local chiropractor office (?). Color me pleasantly surprised. I have a handful of ‘Blackfawn’ shirts left that I took along. The women sizes are gone. All I have left are some men’s. I’ll bring what’s left to Gem City next weekend. After the show and some awesome barbeque, I crashed hard in my hotel room. Passing out while I was reading a script (not the script’s fault. I had to get up at a quarter till 4 to make the show) The turnout was so big, they went ahead and booked a two day show for next year. Thanks to everyone who popped by my table. Except for Batman…

…he gave me the stink eye and walked away. (no he didn’t.)
Lexington’s downtown is chock full of interesting shops. We passed by a few of them on the quest for Billy’s Bar-B-Q. Someday I’d like to venture back there and check some of it out.

The drive back had some amazing scenery. Rolling hills speeding by at 70 mph. Really wish I had some Low Anthem with me on the ride back.
It was completely unintentional, but I have another show coming up next weekend. I didn’t mean to book them back to back like that but oh well. It’ll be a two week break till SPACE. Speaking of which… I thought I’d also post up the final on the SPACE poster:
